Due to the costs associated with a funeral, many individuals are now choosing to set up a pre-paid funeral plan. This helps spread the cost of the funeral, and saves families the stress and worry of finding money to pay for a service. At J & J Lindsay we are more than happy to speak to individuals wishing to pay for their own funeral in advance. By coming to us, you can ensure everything is in place, so that when you pass, your family doesn’t have to think about financing or planning your burial or cremation.

ECO-FRIENDLY FUNERALS

A FLEXIBLE, SIMPLE SERVICE

We offer flexible payment arrangements, allowing you to pay the full sum in advance or spread the cost over several instalments. You can also make contributions towards costs which are outside of our control, such as additional cremation fees.

Once your plan is created, you can nominate a representative (a family member of friend) who will be informed of your plans, and any changes you make after our meeting. This ensures that your pre-planned funeral goes ahead as expected, and that your family is kept up-to-date.

What are the benefits of paying in advance?

The main benefit is reducing the financial burden on your family. The average funeral cost is over £4000 (as of June 2023), so paying this in advance is a huge burden you’d be removing from surviving relatives. In addition, a pre-paid plan means that:
